SBRWA Brings Together 300 South Bronx Youth to Celebrate State Funding for Transformation of Sheridan Expressway by Planning for New Boulevard

On Friday, May 13th, SBRWA members brought together 300 South Bronx youth to celebrate Governor Cuomo’s announcement that the NY State Budget will include funding for the conversion of Sheridan Expressway into a neighborhood-friendly boulevard. The summit engaged young people with interactive workshops and participatory planning exercises to envision the future of the neighborhood made possible by conversion.
